His legacy
Kurt's Legacy
As Kurt's wife, I think I know what his legacy is:  TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!  Too many times we all eat too much of the wrong things and don't take exercise seriously.  Yes, it is human nature to take the easy way out; but just think:  the easy way out very well could be a fast way, too.

Since I knew Kurt he worked very hard at trying to watch his diet.  He was acutely aware of his blood pressure problems.  Although he tried to keep it under control, control simply by medication long term can be dangerous.

I don't think Kurt ever thought he would leave this world this soon.  We had many talks about retirement, the future and summer projects around the house.  When the coal miners lost their lives this summer Kurt, along with all his co-workers and half the world, were glued to the t.v.

I encourage Kurt's children to add to my thoughts.......................................................................
